What does this mean to you and me? All true Christians will be on their knees thanking Jesus for what He did for us 2000 years ago. As our Creator, Jesus did not have to come to earth as a lowly human and suffer, but He did. Jesus didn’t have to suffer and be crucified by the very hands of those He created, but He did. With prayer, Bible study, and righteous living every day we can thank Jesus for paying for our sins.

CREATION/E
Continuing with a Chemical question in the Creation/Evolution debate: Can small atoms, molecules, amino acids, etc. combine together by Natural Processes,
When we die, our AA became a mixture of left and right- handed AA. The evolutionist J. Cohen said in 1995: “The origin of the left- handed Amino Acid is a complete mystery.” However, there are 300 Amino Acids needed in a single cell (All left handed). Using
Remember, if a right- handed Amino Acid was produced in making that single cell, it would kill the proposed chemical procedure. This remarkable process would take a lot longer than 4.5 billion years. Does this process sound too complicated to happen by chance?
Scientist Sir Fred Hoyle explains that it would be difficult if not impossible for the accidental formation of only one of the many chains of amino acids in a living cell. And in every human cell there are about 200,000 such amino acids. Now if you would (could) compute the time required to get all 200,000 amino acids for just one human cell to come together, by chance, it would be about 294 times the estimated (old) age of the earth (set at 4.6 billion years).

IS THE BIBLE RELIABLE? TRANSLATIONS WITHOUT ERROR!
History tells us that the early Jewish historians were extremely careful in copying existing documents (i.e. the Torah etc.). In the early centuries after Christ’s Resurrection, the rapidly growing number of churches and home groups required an increased supply of copies of the Old and New Testament books.
The Gospels and Letters in the New Testament, which were written from 50 A.D. to 95 A.D., were transcribed with every bit the same accuracy as the Old Testament books by the early Jewish historians.
The oldest Greek version of the Old Testament is called the Septuagint. It was completed at the end of the 2nd century B.C. This Greek Manuscript contains 39 Old Testament and 14 Apocrypha books.
See the HISTORY Section on

Through the years, there were translations into many languages as well as the various English/American versions. With all the translations and writers, one would think that there would be errors in the Bible. However, the Bible is the same today as it was 2000 years ago.

THE DEATH OF CHRIST:
Crucifixion is described in the following verses: Matthew 27:32-56; Mark 15:21-41; Luke 23:26-49; John 19:16-30. It was also prophesized in Psalm 22 of the Old Testament about 800 years before it was ever instituted!!
Crucifixion was a very cruel form of execution, generally reserved only for slaves and rebels, not Roman citizens.
1. Death was agonizing. A person could die by either exposure and shock or by asphyxiation. When the person would collapse, hanging from his arms on the cross, it would constrict the diaphragm, inhibiting breathing. The only way they could breathe was to push up against the nails that went through the feet. This was a continual effort. Finally, through the loss of blood and exhaustion, the person eventually suffocated.
2. Death was slow, sometimes taking up to nine days, sometimes the crucified’s legs would be broken to hasten death.
A certificate of debt as indicated in the Bible, in the book of Colossians 2:13-14
1. This certificate was a list of crimes committed against the state that required payment.
2. When the crimes were paid for, it was stamped with the word tetelestia, meaning "paid in full."
3. Paul says that Jesus paid our certificate of debt.
4. Jesus told the world from the cross that our sins have been paid for, He said, "It is finished!"
Jesus gave up His spirit. Jesus died so that we might live. That is for those who believe that Jesus is God and Savior Messiah was dead. A vibrant and hopeful era had come to a bitter and dismal end. The movement was over, the disciples were scattered, and darkness covered the land. The religious establishment shook off the nasty experience and settled down to resume life as usual. But their rest would be short-lived because very quickly death would be swallowed up in victory. HALLELUYAH !
